[gallery type="slideshow" columns="4" ids="676,675,674,673"] Continuing my blog on the project '3D Consequences'..
Ann Marie Shillito's design was passed on to me next for transformation.
Ann Marie is also a jeweller, I also know that she loves brooches! I decided just to make some subtle changes with the move that was to be highlighted 'deform' by creating a warped and slightly more worn look to her geometric design. Most of my work is pretty organic so if I see a straight edge my first instinct is to soften it up.
My time limit on this was pretty precious; about an hour infact. Although I felt with this design I didn't want to change it up much, I really liked the original brooch design and just wanted to leave a little mark on it of my own.
These designs will be 3D Printed and displayed at the 2013 3D Printshow in London.
