'3D Consequences' - A collaborative Project by Anarkik 3D

Following on from my last post; 3D Consequences is an international design project by Anarkik 3D. There are four designers:

Ann Marie Shillito- Jeweller and CEO of Anarkik 3D- Edinburgh

Farah Bandookwala- Jeweller/Artist and Jerwood 2011 exhibitor (Dovecot Edinburgh) with her Cloud 9 installation 3D Printed pieces on 'The Senses'- New Zealand

Lucy Robertson- Textile Designer and 2013 Graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art - Dundee (Edinburgh based)

Myself - Jeweller/Maker and Duncan of Jordanstone 2012 Graduate - Inveraray (West Coast of Scotland)

We are all at different stages in our practices and from different backgrounds so this will make the project all the more interesting.

The challenge is to each begin with a first design. Once it has reached a certain stage, it is passed on to the next person (drawn at random!) then they add to the design. This process is repeated a third time which is the final designed piece.

Each stage of the process is to be documented and 3D Printed so in total we will aim to have 12 designs!

These are (fingers crossed) going to be displayed at the 3D Printshow this year in London, as well as the possibility of further showcases.

These beautiful pieces will be crowdfunding awards, raising funds to help Anarkik 3D go to these events which are such an important part of promoting this software and being involved in the latest technology, getting the public involved in 3D modelling, design and huge amounts of enjoyment.
